2025 MHCC Cruise Colorado
June 16-20, 2025
This week does not conflict with RMMR, Mustang Stampede, Hot Rod Cruise, or Father's day
But does interfere with the London Cobra Show and the Shelby CruiseLots of stuff happening in June
We are staying in Colorado, again.
The consensus is to focus on the 4 corners area
I did get a little bit of input:,
1. Stick to the SW part of the state.
2. Four Corners Monument
3. Mesa Verde NP
4. The Million Dollar Hwy.
5. CO Rt-145
6. Avoid Rt-50 east of Montrose due to construction
We will try to finish the day fairly early, like 1500-1600, so we can enjoy the towns and hotel amenities
We will also try to find hotels closer to the center of town
For example, the Tomichi Inn is nice. But it's a long way from anything
We'll depart from the gas station on Morrison about 0800'ish on Monday
We should be back in the Denver area Friday Afternoon

I would like to get hotel rooms in Mesa Verde NP this time. But they go fast, so everyone will have to make reservations fairly early.
There are also a couple of hotels/motels in Mancos that are a little bit cheaper.
Please let me know who plans to participate. So far, I have 5 definite, and 3 maybe.

2024 MHCC Cruise Colorado
June 10 - 15, 2024
This year we are staying in Colorado.
We will start on Monday morning, June 10. Meet at the gas station in Morrison
We will depart promptly at 0900'ish, or thereabouts
Overnight stops will include Gunnison, Pagosa Springs, Cortez, Hotchkiss, and Cripple Creek
There will be no marathon runs or unusually long days. Average days are 200 miles.
I will send a more detailed route description and map out this week.

After Action Report
So, how did it go? I think it was great. Small group, but we had lots of fun.
We had a torrential downpour near Gunnison. And it was Africa Hot in Cortez. Otherwise great weather.
Nobody broke down and had to be towed. Nobody required any repairs on the road. No drama, No trauma.
